While working at BTI, I became a member of the Board of Directors for the Baldwin Area Chamber of Commerce. This gave me an opportunity to install some marketing ideas and branding into the organization. At times, this proved a challenge, but, slowly we overcame a lot of hurdles and we developed some branding and tools that would keep chamber members informed using their website. However, with a lack of training and leadership as chamber board members came and went, the website has not been given enough attention. I hate to see my sites go downhill after you leave them.

The Hazelnut Tree is a great little coffee shop in Baldwin, WI. I spent a lot of money there while working at BTI. As with all of my clients, I wanted to help Julie Huenink, then owner, to succeed, because, where else would I get my morning coffee and bear claw from? I offered to do her website in exchange for a lot of coffee. The deal worked out great and the site reflects the shop nicely. Now under new ownership, I plan to touch base with the new owner and implement some new tools to help them out with e-commerce.

Danmar Systems is another unique client. They recently approached me to implement a client login for viewing their project progress as well as an employee time clock and project checklist module. Both of these projects are still pending, but, I am hoping to get started on them asap as it'd be another mountain to conquer.

Mike O'Connell is a nice guy. He definitely has taken the funeral business and flipped it upside down. His approach to funeral arranging is unique and really personable. He wanted to give his website a face-lift a few years back. Of course, now that I know way more than I did when I developed this site I want to approach him with another face-lift idea, however, it's still a nice piece.

I approached the owner, Mike Fassino, the first time I ate at Paddy Ryan's. I was really impressed with the high quality food and the great atmosphere. However, his website did not reflect his restaurant's image. Right there at the table I complimented him on his success so far and ask that we setup a meeting to go over a possible new approach for his brand. We still are making tweaks to the design here and there, but, this is the overall look and feel.
